Item 8:  How are you going to attract and retain customers?   

 

To attract customers, we will use web advertisements, television commercials, and newspaper ads.  In those ads, we would advertise specials and discounts, especially during the busiest times of the year for parties such as holidays and graduations.  We will also place our website logo on certain party supplies, such as favors, so that guests at our customers’ party can check out our services. 

To retain customers, as mentioned in item 6, we will use a CRM database to keep track of our members’ information such as e-mail addresses and birthdays.  We can therefore send customers birthday reminders and holiday discounts.  We will also send customers who buy packages frequently a number of discounts. 

Also, again as mentioned in item 6, we will use web statistics and database technology to determine what the most popular packages are, and then feature those items on the website so that customers have easy access to them. 

Having excellent customer service by allowing customers to email or chat live with a customer service representative will also help us to retain loyal customers.  Through this form of customer retention, we will also gain a form of free advertisement called “word of mouth.”  Since we will provide our customers with an easy, friendly and useful way of planning their parties, they will walk away satisfied with the deal they made and come back.  In the end, our satisfied customers will tell all of their friends about PackMyParty.com.
